My name is Bridget McLaren and I was born with Cerebal Palsy (CP). I use a power chair which is great for my mobility.

My eye sight has been affected by my Cerebal Palsy. I am an audio learner because of my vision problems, sometimes people think I am not concentrating because I am not looking directly at them but I will be concentrating on what they are saying.

After finishing school where I obtained Level 3 NCEA I completed an online course in Business Administration and Computing (National Certificate Level 4).

Interests

I do archery at the local Archery Club. I use a specially designed frame to attach my bow to which enables me to shoot. I also go to the gym on my new bike.

I was given a mobility assist dog called Goldie, he goes everywhere with me. He has really changed my life as he helps assist my independence.

My interest in this business started when I was scanning family photos for my grandmother. I realized there could be a need for this service for many families.

I have done research into keeping the photos safe. Gareth Winter from the Wairarapa Archives was a great help with this and other ideas such as making power point presentations.
